There are four different types of sponges from different classes: Calcarea, Hexactinellida, Demospongiae, and Sclerospongiae. They are split into the classes based on the type of spicules they have. For example, spicules may be made of calcium carbonate or a spongin fiber.

True Jellyfish - This website gives information about jellysishes as well as pictures and drawings to describe the information. The drawings are especially helpful because they help to understand what the site describes. This site is especially helpful if you are looking for the names and habitats of different jellyfishes. I recommend this site to students of all ages. I rate this site five tentacles.

General Medusa - This site explains how many jellyfish are harmless, though most people fear them. It goes over the 'body plan' of the jellyfish and its life cycles and eating habits. The Glossary of Jellyfish - This website describes many different types of jellfish first giving their scientific names and then giving picture of each jellyfish. There is a description of each jellyfish and it describes the appearance of each jellyfish giving basic information of each. Jellyfish stings are a neurotoxin, and nothing completely stops the sting except a nerve block. The best thing to so is apply treatments in this order: apply a cloth wetted with vinegar for about 10 minutes, then apply ice for about 10 minutes, then apply cortisone ointment. Repeat the ice and cortisone if the pain returns. Re-application of vinegar isn't needed.
