you are right. if only there was some way that kindred spirits could unite and solve a lot of these controversies by voting the rotten scoundrals out. i don't know how. we just take it in the bum over and over and over like a handsome 16-year-old boy in prison. anybody should have the right to off themselves if they don't happen to have the nerve to buy a cheap .38 snubnose revolver and blow themselves away. or jump in front of a train. some people need help. korvorkian deverse a national medal of honor and a huge cash settlement. the us is a very backwards yet depraved nation today.

the problem is that he wasn't helping people with horrific pain. He assisted suicides for people who were paralyzed (those that can't feel beyond a certain point) If it were allowed then they would do it... point blank he broke the law... he paid his time... that's like saying you shouldn't put someone in jail for raping a mentally disabled person because they don't know what's going on.... There are many things legal in other countries and not ours... prostitution for one... i'm sure there are others that i can't think of off the top of my head.

I agree only with a couple of his duties...He did nothing wrong helping someone out but should of protected himself by legal contracts or getting a court order to proceed...I don't think he has the right to sue, the world is sue crazy enough already, what he did was wrong. He has to live with this conscious and his creator making those decisions so whom am I to judge.

I do when I see how well folks spell and use the English language. Specially when spell check is available.

I have a question; why are the standards of society getting lower every fricken day?

If it's allowed in every other country (not true BTW) he should have gone elsewhere to do his deeds. He chose to defy the law, and has to pay the consequences.

No and my opin. he should be named for Saint hood. I wouldn't want to lay in excruciating pain that doesn't have a cure. What be the point if he did. But yes he should sue. He is helping out lots of folks with in enviable.

He was breaking the law. I have to obey the law, as do you, as does he. Like it or not, if you break it, you're going to jail.

If he wanted to "practice" so badly, he should have gone to the countries where it would be legal.
