i want a gamecube really bad just so that i can play ATV: quad power racing 2, and some other games. is it worth buying? because there are other game systems out now, and i dont want it to be hard to find things for the game cube.

Absolutely! We really enjoy so many of the games that are available for that system. The Wii and PS3 are really hard to find right now so for the cost the Game Cube should give you a lot of enjoyment.

If you're getting a Wii then getting a Gamecube would be pretty useless since you can just play gamecube games on the Wii. Unless you want to buy the Gamecube and sell it for a few bucks more to make a bit of a profit. Ahaha.

My sister and I got a gamecube last year and we havent touched it ever since the first month we got it. We never play with it at all and we have a bunch of games for it too. Anyways I think since nintendo is coming out with all this new stuff I think they are fixing to stop or slow way down on the production of new games and so on. The gamecubes have been out for many many years now like more than 5. I think it is getting pretty outdated especially since the wii just came out. I wouldnt buy it if I were you. I would save for the wii so you know you will get some good quality games out of it for a long time. What ever you choose i'm sure will be fine though.

There's no better time. There will probably be a lot hitting the used market since the Wii was released, and it's backward compatible with Gamecube. You'll probably be able to find one for really cheap. Heck, I'll sell you mine.
Then again, you may want to just go with the Wii?

well... it is a little bit outdated, but if you enjoy those games..go for it.. but you could spend as little as 250$ on a Nintedo Wii, which plays normal gamecube games on it. but then again... gamecubes are probably SO cheap now. Personally I would get the Wii, but that is just me.

The GC is noyl 50$ so I say yes, its worth getting. The Tales games, Zelda Twilight Princess. Etc.

yah they are worth it i have a gamecube and a bunch of my freinds do too and you can just get games and stuff at futur shop
