In the cold war, we were told every day that the evil Commies were going to kill us all. Didn't happen, but it helped distract the American people from anything else. Before that, the Germans had the "Jews will kill us all" to distract their people. In the south we had the "Blacks will kill us all" mentality to distract poor whites from their being screwed over by rich whites. etc. Doesn't anyone get that America's cold war against Islam is just another distraction. As long as we continue our war on Muslims it is politically incorrect to criticize Bush for screwing our Economy, Human Rights, etc.

This is even a recycled idea from Pope Urban the II. The Muslims obviously aren't trying to kill us all because if you look at all the recent wars between Muslims and Non-Muslims, almost all of them are started by the latter. (E.g. Afghanistan parts one and two, Iraq, Lebanon parts one and two, 6 day war, and many many more)

Can anyone tell me why this is anymore valid then(continued)

when the medieval European Jews had confessed under torture to have poisoned the wells and started the black plague?

No one has told me how this is different from any other historical distraction... If I had asked this about other distractions guess what would have happened...

1940s Germans: "Don't laugh, the Protocols of Elder Zion is no distraction."

Southerners: "The blacks would kill you and your family if they had the chance"

Soviets: "The Capitalists will kill you if they have the chance (despite the kill a commie for christ slogan, this probably wasn't the case)"

Finally, someone who agrees with me! I can not agree more with you! that's exactly my point of view. In fact, as many analysts, reports and evidences suggest, all these acts and plans involve israel or its benefits one way or the other no matter how much the world negates this fact.

This is not a war against the Muslims. We have many Muslim allies (Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, etc). It is an unjust war fought under false pretext against a people we know little about and a country that does not want us there.

I beg to differ with you.. The radical factions of the Muslims "will" kill you if they get a chance!!

Just because HomeLand Security is doing thier job, and keeping us safe, doesnt mean that they wont get "through" and cause mischief and mayhem with violence that will be of an enormous scale...

They are full of hatred for the United States, (basically, anyone who is not muslim, is an infidel), and they want to wipe us all out! There is no "cold war" with this faction...ITS REAL!!

Wake up and smell the Folgers!

I wish you well..

It is a very interesting question.

Our country, like quite a few others, have an "adversary system" of a sort when we deal with others. We have to have an arch-enemy. This is, probably, the reason.

Did anyone die on 9/11?
Perhaps that was just a distraction.

well... the thing is... only one group has really attacked us... al-queda.. but Republicans NEVER refer to them... it's always this shadowy "islamifacists" or "terrorists"...

and we have only attacked one part of al-queda's base (Afghanistan) and have not taken out their leader... so another attack is possible, while we're messing around in Iraq chasing after shadows...
