I am divorced with two kids so my ex husband and I share the Christmas holiday. On the years when I have the children we open one on Christmas eve and the rest on Christmas morning.

Every year in my family we pick names to get presents for because there are so many people in my family because alot of us are married. So, This year we are opening the familes presents, the presents that we chose names for on christmas Eve. Because my sister is an RN and she has to work a mandatory 4 hours that day in the Hospital. So, we are doing the night before so that she can still go to Inlaws that day too.

I do both. We open presents on Christmas eve at our house for eachother then we have a big shabang at my in laws on Christmas day where we exchange gifts with the whole entire family. Fun stuff!

we open one present on Christmas eve and then on Christmas morning my little brother usually goes and wakes everyone up and we open the rest

I grew up opening them on Christmas eve. The way I do it now is a couple of gifts from us parents on the eve, then Santa surprises them on Xmas day! Plus the filled stockings!

Since my brother is married, he and my sis in law have Christmas Day with her family. Our family just opens presents on Christmas Eve...so everyone is happy. You have to be flexible :-)
