I have looked on e bay and all decent costumes seem to go to £30 and more with postage. That is a little more than I can afford. Does anyone now any where I can look that is a little off the beaten track?

How about making your own. Good fun and it does not have to be
the exact replica of the real thing you could improvise. It's amazing what fabric paint and an old sheet can do. Get your Ma to knock you something up. She'll feel flattered you asked her.

if you're from the uk you can get them from argos,they do batman,superman,a pirate,etc,not sure how much they are but they're cheaper than ebay,also you cant guarantee that its going to get to you on time for new years eve with the christmas post.good luck,hope you find something soon.
