Could this be a sign of labor coming?

Not necessarily. Im also 39wks pregnant and im not producing anything as yet. My boobs have been sore for weeks.

Sometimes milk or colostrum wont begin production till after bub is born. When you give birth - and u are not producing yet some hospitals will give you a breast pump to use to stimulate it.

Good luck and congrats

You won't begin lactating until after the baby is born, but there's an excellent chance you're going to go into labor soon. Weight loss (2 to 3 lbs). is a good indication, as well the loss of the mucus plug. You're at the point my wife was when she gave birth to our son this September -- 39 weeks & 5 days.

eventually, YES.

for more accurate details, pls consult your OB/GYN doc.

some women deliver early, & some deliver late, some just deliver right on time.... (weird). don't worry, lactation has it's own schedule. so does baby
