Well I'm getting kind of tired of all my music, I mean I listen to it over and over.... So if you have a good CD or Artist/Band to reccomend, let me know.

I would recommend Blondie and The Go Go's. They are my favorite bands and offer many varieties of music. I recommend God Bless The Go Go's by The Go Go's and Parallel Lines by Blondie (albums). Also Hanging On The Telephone by Blondie and Skidmarks On My Heart by The Go Go's (songs). Good luck and enjoy!

I'm not sure what type of music you like, but I can mention some personal favorites, keeping in mind I'm 39 and listen to different types of music depending on my mood ;)

Adrian Gurvitz- Classic, from 1982, soft rock/love type album
Pink Floyd- Delicate Sound Of Thunder, double-live classic rock
Chris DeBurgh- try a greatest hits w/ Spanish Train on it. GREAT
Garth Brooks- any! We listen to a lot when we party by the fire!
Alan Parsons Project- 80s rock(?), try a greatest hits
Mylene Farmer-french, start with Mylenium Tour. Awesome!!!
Warren Zevon- Greatest Hits I guess it goes under soft rock(?)
Jethro Tull- Heavy Horses, others. Don't think Aqualung.....
Def Leppard- Pyromania. Now there's ROCK
The Outfield- Play Deep, 80s soft rock
Lou Reed- Blue Mask, New York. Classic type rock(?).Research.
Prince- Purple Rain
Eddie&The Cruisers soundtracks (3 CDs in all)
Rusted Root- pretty good from what I've heard ;)

There's a start for you. Sorry I couldn't be of more help- right now all my CDs are packed away from moving. I hope I mentioned a few that might get you off the beaten path. Good luck!

Try J.J. Cale.

He is the preeminent representative of what is known as Tulsa Sound. A nice mix of blues, some jazz, and light country. Also, great instrumentals. He offers simple acoustic albums, as well as well produced studio albums.

I have about two dozen of his albums, beautiful stuff.

Enjoy
