ugrade of ram - extra 512 mb ram

update processor - currently 1.8 Ghz to around 2.8 Ghz

update graphics card - with tv input to play xbox 360 on monitor

format of hard drive re flashed with.. (below)

windows media centre - legitimate

i would like to know how much all this will cost (all together) and individually if i took my computer to a pc shop for an upgrade..?

You might well pay less to simply buy a new complete PC. The reason - because Win Media Center costs a FRACTION of the price when it is pre-installed on a PC. Buying standalone Media Center will put a big hole in your wallet. Other than that, the items just cost what they cost... but a faster motherboard would probably be needed to really get the most out of big Ram and faster processor. A computer is a team effort - and if there's one weak part (ie component) of the team, the whole thing is disappointing...

This question can not be answered without knowing first what kind of pc you currently have.
For example you might or might not need to replace the motherboard, the Power supply, The memory type, The case and so on... because components have changed a lot lately, is not just like that.. "i change the CPU and Memory and I'll be good".
If you have a brand name computer, that will make things worse,,,
in that case you just need to sell it or trash it and start from scratch with a good custom machine

all i know is that 512 mg of ram typically costs about 69 USD
