I have a friend who beleives that there is a God but doesn't beleive in anything that he has done?

He is non religious and I want to tell him about the lord. What should I do?

Even jesus didnt really praise the lord god, at the last supper while the disciples were praying he began to laugh for quite a while, Jesus believes in god but doesnt exactly prase him on alot of accounts, i think all the refrences of angels and god coming down from the heavens are a misinterpretation of Ufos sounds crazy yea, but even the vatican wont dipose the idea, because they are unsure, well just for the record people have opinions and you have your own, what if i were to try to presuade you about not believing in god? you wouldnt like it, and your friend prolly doesnt want you to bother him with it, But everyone from gods point of view will tell you to push it on your friend, i say you should follow your heart and do what you think is right, but really, think on it, peace.

I think the best thing for you to tell him is to take a look at him self and ask him what he thinks of him self and depending on that answer is what your going to tell him well now you have to believe that he does do things and good things couse if it was not for him you would not be here. and one of the best things he has done is still given him an oppertunity to be a beleiver. so tell your friend to take it now while its here before it get to late.. good luck n God bless him and you

Dont be a pushy so n so, and let your friend believe what he wants to believe. there's nothing worse than someone trying to change what you believe to their way, who says what you believe is right!?

I always believed in god (up until pretty much a few weeks ago) but didn't believe all the bible stories, i just believed the stories of the bible were there to show people examples of what is good and of what is bad. So they dont particularly have to of happened, but they are like "fairy tales" (for lack of a better word) with a moral at the end sort of thing.

Anyways, long story short, just let him be.

Everybody is entitled to his or her own believes however strange they might seem to us. If you want to tell your friend about God, be very tactful. There is nothing worse than a person who tries to push the religion down other people's throat. But if he is a true friend, he would like to learn more about your views, believes and values. It does not necessarily mean that he would accept them as his own.
