I remember having it last a whole month one time. It was normal for the usual time then went light for the rest of the time but never completely stopped. I remember going to the doctor and getting prescribed some iron pills since this loss of blood made me tired and lethargic.

Yes, stress could be a factor in this. You are going through a lot right now. Go to the ob/gyn and let her/him treat you. It will even up. Don't worry.

Sounds like something is going on in there that is not normal. Are you sure you weren't pregnant? I had a similar experience when I miscarried.

You should see a doctor, because something could be wrong, and you do not want to get it to late.
