got a gnome for xmas in the office secret santa
also lr did the present he never showed up so i will never see his face, hopefully someone will be there when he opens it.

You got a gnome!!!??? That's so odd......at least it wasn't a boxing glove on a spring. (Or would that have come from management?)
Well, my general feeling about gnomes is that they're cranky little buggers that sit around fishing all day and are victims of kidnapping......is there something that your secret santa was trying to say??
I haven't got mine yet, but I have given it a good squeeze under the Christmas tree (potted palm covered in Crazy Clark tinsel). It doesn't feel like a gnome, anyway - more of a squishy thing. I'll let you know on Friday

a garden gnome brings good luck
I received a small gnome to put next to my computer to ward off viruses and a lot of them were sold for this purpose.

I consider gnomes as very wise, but very reluctant to share that wisdom. They are prettymuch mischevious and almost feline in their fickleness.
