Ya im serious,its sopossed to be an old law,im just curious if it is still in effect.

They rarely remove old laws. It is probably still in affect.

It may be a stupid old law somewhere, but I believe that in just about every state you have to get a marriage license. (Or you have to be common law married, which requires YEARS of cohabitation, holding yourself out as "Mr. and Mrs.," commingling finances, etc.)
So if it's still on the books, it's likely superseded by the normal regulatory statute.

No, someone (judge, preacher) will have to officiate the "vows", and you'll have to have a marriage license. All states have these stupid old laws that really need to removed, so I guess it'll also depend on the state you live in.
