No the insurgency will not just stop but it will rather peter out the same way it did in post war Germany, post war Japan and post war Korea. The one thing you can bet is a sure thing is that pulling out doesn't look like victory to anyone except perhaps the liberal (hate America/George Bush crowd) that would be a far reaching and extremely grave mistake you know given that the leaders of the insurgency have said that is their goal and all Yeah that's a good plan lets look weak in front of the world and run away with our tail between our collective legs just like Somalia that was a good move wasn't it? I think what George Bush defines as victory is none of your business nor is it mine let him and our armed men and women do their jobs and part of that job is to let us know when it is done until that time why don't you go try to rebuild the ozone layer (oh yeah thats right now the same scientists who said we need the ozone layre thick now say the ozone is part of what is causing global warming) Another example of liberals being right about something (N O T )

Bush has said it numerous times. It'll be when Iraq is free and secure.

I'd say it'll require more force from us. Now it looks like the 1992 riots in Los Angeles, when the police retreated, and crime rampaged.

I get the impression American troops in Iraq are not being allowed to fight as hard as they could, as hard as they should. I don't really know.

Terrorism is caused by Muslim dictatorships. Ending the dictatorships is the best plan I've heard to end world terrorism. Have you heard a better plan?

A woman can't provoke getting raped, and the victims of terrorism didn't provoke the terrorism. It's the terrorists' fault.

I want victory in Iraq. Don't you?

I'm pretty sure that a victory to him would be everyone in the world bowing down to him. Who knows.... maybe he's just an aggressive over-compensator trying to make up for his shortcomings (especially in intelligence). But, I think he lives in a world of illusion, and has no realistic or factual basis for any thought or action. I'm sure he'd be a fascinating subject for psychoanalysis.

if you watched the news today, replaying the fall of saigon, that is what victory in Iraq would look like today, only more of it.
