something that is relatively short so your attention is kept as its Christmas time one of my favorite short story's is a child's Christmas i wales by Dylan Thomas and you can get these on line.iv always found poetry great fun to read aloud like spike milligan on the ning nang nong or edward lears storys are funny and witty for slightly younger kids. i think you just expermint until you find a style that works. this website has many short stories http://www.bnl.com/shorts/ many of which are classics.

What age is your child? Are you wanting to find books that you can read to her?

Or are you wanting to find a book to help you cope with problems with children her age? Are you wanting an advice book?

that both of you can read? if your daughter is middle school ish, i would just drop the idea completely. Father Daugher books arent really idea of "fun"
