Five nurses and one doctor will be executed for discovering that Islamic children have AIDS. The comedic charge is, that these woman, and a Palastinian doctor, purposely injected the children with AIDS, all 400 of them. Despite the fact the scientific evidence proved the kids had AIDS before the workers came to Libya.
Muslims were cheering the verdict. After 7 years of prison, these woman now face death.
I was watching a PBS special about do-gooders going to Morrocco and helping the children. I wondered why, with all the poverty in non-muslim countries, they went to a place where western culture is despised. Stupidity.

I would not wish death on those I disagree with. However they should look at this and realize that this is what we are facing and must as a nation over come.

Actually it isn't stupid. It is one way of showing the benefits of Western culture, besides I'm not really sure 'western' is appropriate to describe these nurses.
I'm certain this is a miscarriage of justice, and Libya will probably milk it for all the money they can from western governments to appease the families of the children in exchange for freeing them. A couple million $ and judgments can be overturned.
Of course this will (and already has) backfire on Libya because many good physicians will be reluctant to go work there. In the end the people who lose the most from this tragic injustice will be the Libyans.
