Eww, gross, I know, but this is actually a serious question.
Whenever I go to the toilet there's always a fine dusting of splash-back on the rim.
Where is the best place to, err, point, in order to minimize the splash?
Do you aim for the water? The back of the toilet? High or low? Is it better to stand back and play the angles? Or is a 90 degree bomber approach a better bet?
What do you all think?

You can use some toilet paper and put it in the bowl so then it won't fire back at you. Be careful not to put too much paper that it will clog! By the way, this really works.

Hello CTC - Nice pic is it U? Great Q Never herd/ read this topic b4. Standing does splash hit rim, tank & wall. Put some paper so hang down around seat & stick 2 walls. Lay it on water 2 control bomb splash.situation. May b best 2 sit 2 control aim better!

OMG, that's just the funniest thing I have ever heard. Sounds to me like you are a kinda tall guy with lousy aim. I'm not too sure there is a perfect place or way to aim, most men make a mess, hardly any will admit to it, and only some choose to clean up after themselves. The only thing I can tell ya is: "Practice Makes Perfect"!

sit and dont hover. people who do that pee all over the seat and never clean it. thats gross. that is why there are seat covers.
most of the time the splash back is from the toilet flushing it forces water out so violently and quick that it splashes back to the seat.

I swear, if Sharper Image came up with some sort of electric-eye scoring mechanism for sighting, you'd never see splashback again.

I don't have any problems aiming. I just go where it feels natural and I have never had a problem splashing onto the rim. I don't know what to tell you.

put a layer of toilet paper on the water first but remember dont hit the same spot twice!

Just do your best to pee without spraying all over. If you happen to miss, clean up after yourself!!!! If all else fails, do what the other guy said and get a catheter!!!!
