Instead of asking your parents to do these things for you ask them to teach you to do them for yourself, the sad reality is they won't always be there for you.

It's time you start doing things for yourself. One day, you're parents won't be here anymore, then where will you be? The outside world will betray you, life isn't easy. So take your time, have your parents show you everything. Don't have them do things for you, do it yourself, it's the only way you'll learn. Whatever pertains to you, you do it all. You'll get used to it, and figure out it's no big deal. Live life one day at a time. Best of luck to you.

you need to start cutting this apron string little by little and you can start by getting a job, and then ask you mom to help you open up a checking account and ask her to show you how to balance it and when you get a job you will start meeting people and making friends did you not go to school? or were you home schooled? you have to get out among people and become a responsible adult your parents should of taught you how to do that but it doesnt matter now thats past , you are going to have to do it for yourself, and if you ask i know they will help you with the things that you need to do to get your independance.

its called 'FALEUR TO LAUNCH' this generation ( my generation) is about the laziest ever, i think were still feeling the after affects of the dope our folks did in the 60s, but i know soooo many people that still live with their folks.. my brother,( adopted) still leaches off my dad ( im adopted too) whos 81, and hes 39!! i really dont know, all i can sugets is instead of making your poor folks not only care for you, but care for your kid as well, YOU train your kid good work ethics....i did, and it worked...otherwise, get out the house!!! your parents should be a saftey net in case, but not your mommy and daddy forever footing your bills....
