So far the things I'm going to make is Pumkin Gingerbread bread, Chocolate covered prezels, and cookies (not sure what kind yet)

I plan on delivering the gifts friday (Dec 22) afternoon and I plan on packing everything in a gift basket

You should be fine making the items you listed a couple of days in advance. I recommend tightly sealing the bread, or even freezing it until you are ready to eat it. The pretzels should not be a problem and a tip for your cookies is to store them in a ziploc bag with a slice of bread. I know it sounds wierd but the bread will keep the cookies moist! Good luck! :)

You can make cookies and pretzels a week or so in advance and then put them in the freezer until the day before you need them, they will stay fresh and soft once thawed. I'm not sure about the bread- I haven't made that before.

Merry Christmas to you too.

What I do is bake then freeze. in the event that they are going to be adorned in techniques that is harmed by utilising the freezing, try this section once you're waiting to apply them. I basically made ten dozen Chocolate Bon Bon cookies from the King Arthur Flour weblog (see link), iced up the cookies, and could beautify them as i want them for unique, and so on.

Wow! This is what Christmas is all about!

Be sure to let everything reach room temperature before wrapping or sealing up, so that condensation doesn't form and soak the goodies!

Merry Christmas!!
