It uses hydrogen in nuclear reactions to make energy. Polaris is bigger than the Sun.

The same as any other sun. It makes big atoms out of little atoms and turns the leftovers into energy.
It's huge. It's over 80 million miles in diameter. The sun is less than one million.

both are dwarf stars although Polaris is a binary star system
