I was gonna go to Disneyland last weekend (I live here in socal) and I almost crapped my pants when I saw that it's $63.00 PER PERSON to get into the park, for ages 3 to 10 it's $58.00 PER PERSON. I couldn't believe it!!! I was so shocked and dismayed. How many more people out there are sick of big corporations practicing price gouging just because they can? Needless to say, I didn't go to Disneyland!

Disneyland has many options available for multi-day passes for their parks that make the daily rate very reasonable, and Disneyland/California Adventure can't be done completely in 1 day. Right now, a 3-day park hopper pass is $149, so you get 2 amusement parks for 3 days for $50 per day.....pretty good deal. The staff needed to keep these parks going is amazing, and you would be amazed the thousands that work there each day. And remember, unlike most amusement parks, Disney is a Theme Park and it is very different then your usual amusement park experience (rides/shows/fireworks/food).

Actually, living in SoCal you would have been able to take advantage of the local discount, if it is currently being offered. You might find one-day park hopper passes available at Vons or other grocery stores, but you will need to show your ID at the Disneyland gates in order to prove local residency. And if you wanted to go more often, you can take advantage of the SoCal discounts on Annual Passes.

So all in all, you have access to more discounted tickets than most people.

In 1992, the price was $50.00 a person, 12 and up, I was 12 then.
Disneyland rocks, I would pay the price. $13 price raise in 14 years isn't that bad.

I will never go back to Disney again. We live close to Cedar Point which I think has better rides.

It IS possible to get them cheaper. A lot of professions can get them cheaper through the unions (I'm thinking specifically of teachers, I've got a buddy who gets them for me when I go). It just takes a little planning.
