if you have a cable modem you are paying for high-speed internet access. there is no free way to get Internet access

There aren't any free connections thru cable. You can however use your cell phone and just using your free minutes period to connect and cost nothing except the cable and software, about $40 from Verizon. No monthly fee for their Quick Net. It is a bit slow -- but you can't expect too much for nothing.

lol, attempt this, it worked for me. the signal getting into your position is the exact same signal that the television may use. merely disconnect your modem and connect that cable to a television to work out if the cable works, if it does purchase a splitter and positioned it interior your position, and run the hot cable to the television.

The modem is verified by the ISP as being valid or not, so I do not think can be done.
