Go get a CWL. Then get a gun.

I've moved houses 5 times in the past 2 and a half years and 2 of the places I left was becoz i got so sick of being broken into.

Im a young single mum with a red convertable and there are a lot of bad people living in my area. (Sydney)

People reckon it happens to me coz of the car I drive, they think I draw attention to myself and becoz I am on my own, I'm an easy target.

The last time I moved was just over a month ago. I moved into a complex of townhouses and my place is right up the back, you cant even tell there is a house there, so I am well hidden and only very close friends and family will know where I am living.

The best advice I can give you is to get a dog. For some reason, nothing ever happened wheneva I had my staffy in the backyard. When I gave her to my aunty, trouble started within days of her not being around the house anymore - could just be a coinicidence but I think that anyone who sneaks around stealing and breaking into peoples property are usually cowards.

Another thing you can do, is set up spy cameras. You can get them pretty cheap off ebay now, they might not prevent break - ins but there's a pretty good chance you actually know the people doing this to you and just think how good it would be to catch them red handed!

I'm sorry that it happened to you, twice.
If you were mugged (without a weapon), next time camouflage your stuff like cellphone, etc. I use a pill case for my cellphone, silly i know, but not silly when you have been mugged.
If you were mugged with a weapon, the same applies, but if you are caught, they may be harder on you. It's better to let them have it than be injured, either way there's trauma, so try to reduce the physical trauma.
If you were like robbed at gunpoint then better for you to have your life than your stuff. I'm glad you're still here with us.
If you are really scared move out of that hood or take a holiday you deserve it. Hope all the best for you.

Have a friend sneak over in the middle of the night. In the morning, you have your friend dress up as you and pretend to go to work.

Meanwhile, you're still inside with a chainsaw. And then the pig tries to come in again....

P.S. I am not legally liable if you do this to someone. Please understand I do not endorse murder via chainsaw or any other premeditated murder.

Purchase a alarm system, put timers on your lights, call your local police department and have them do "courtesy checks" on your house. Also keep the radio on for background noise. The main thing is to make it look like your home when you're not.
