There is an episode of Seinfeld where Kramer has this same issue. Supposedly, but unlikely true, briefs keep sperm count down as where boxers let those little guys flow and multiply.

boxers. brief are too concealing. I feel more open in boxers.

boxers are more comfortable, briefs give you more protection. boxer briefs do both
