circumfrence =2∏r=2*∏*95=596.9 feet
the sprinker moves 230 degrees which is 230/360 times the circumfrence= 381.6 feet
divide that by hours and you get 101.7 feet/hour

1. need to find how far the arc is - find the circumference (pi x d) (3.14 x 190) = 596.6 ft.
2. circle has 360 degree, in this case that is 596.6 ft. need to find how far 230 degrees is - set up as a ratio:
596.6 ft / 360 = x / 230 (so the arc of 230 degrees is 381.2 ft)
3. So speed is now 381.2 ft in 3.75 hours.
4. Convert your hours to seconds (multiply by 3600) and now you have 381.2 feet in 13,500 seconds.
5. You need the speed in 1 second , you should convert the feet to inches to have a reasonable answer: 4574.4 inches in 13,500 seconds.
6. Divide by 13,500 seconds and you get .34 inches per second.
(I rounded all the answers to the nearest tenth.)
Based on the info given, I think this is what you're looking for
