1. no need to download any software. just click start>run then type dxdiag in the box, then click on the display tab on top.

2. right click desktop go to propeties then click advance button, then click graphic display on top.

go to start>all programs>accessories>system tools>system info and search "graphics card" on bottom of window :)

If you go to programs-->accessories-->system tools--> system information you can see what you need under video.
