Oh the smell of baking for me too, I remember coming home from school on a freezing cold winters day, your feet and hands would be so cold you could hardly feel them, you'd open the door and you could smell home made bread been baked and all the other lovely baking smells too, the fire would be roaring in the hearth, everything was polished with lavender wax polish and the mixture of all the smells in the house were fantastic, my mom used to make us sit by the fire and get warm then she'd bring in a big mug of tea and a slice of warm bread with butter dripping from it, she'd smell of roses and fuss us with cuddles and kisses to make us cosy warm, oh how I miss those days and my mom.

cleansing soap that smells like peaches continually jogs my memory of my grandma's residing house, because that's the range of cleansing soap she used. also, this can be somewhat gross, yet on each occasion I smell a ferret it jogs my memory of my early existence besides. My brother were given a puppy ferret at the same time as i replaced into about 6 years previous, and it died many years later.

There was this lanolin shampoo my mom used to use. It was a cloudy white pearly color in a clear bottle with a blue label.
The other thing is Chanel #5. My mom would always put it on before going out and everytime I smell it, it reminds me of being little and watching her put on makeup

Ashes and coal when I'd have to set the fire in the mornings.

Diesel and ice-cream when we'd go to the van.

The balloons at christmas they'd smell different then.

Tomatoes in my grandads greenhouse and blackcurrants from the bush next to it.

The smell of the newness in a building reminds me of the childrens home.

The smell of crayons repulsed me at school.

The smell of burning leaves etc on a garden compost. Whenever I smell this I think of my Grandad in his back garden. Happy days!
