When being search, has anyone had electronics (for example computer accessories) taken apart when searching? (Some electronics can be taken apart by using a mini screwdriver, so you can look inside the electronics)

Clearly from all of your questions you are seriously considering bringing drugs into Japan. This is probably the worst idea I've ever heard. You will get caught. If you're dumb enough to try, you deserve to be caught.

I have been asked to turn on my laptop and have had it expected by Japanese customs as well have had to demonstrate that my camera actually works. I have seen customs take things out of suitcases and open packages. Everything is scanned by an x-ray machine.
Last time I was there they also had an infared camera and doctor on site. Everyone had to pass by this camera to determine if you were sick or overheated incase you had a contagious illness. It was the first time I had seen this (also in Hong Kong). It's pretty hard to hide anything. They are smarter than you.

If you look suspcious and nervous (and you should be nervous attempting to bring drugs into Japan) then you will be more likely to have a thorough search.

♡No, I haven't had Japanese customs take apart my electronics for any reason at all.
They did open and empty out my mini thermos though but I didn't really care. I was just glad they were doing their job well.
~They're most likely to give YOU a thorough search AND THEN your electronics if they suspect contraband and I doubt they'll use a mini screwdriver for that.(^_-)-☆
Maybe you should reconsider coming here to Japan?
Good luck, hope this helps.♡

Bloody hell! You're OBSESSED!!!

If you're just worried that you might be suspected for no good reason, I suggest you stay in your own flippin' country! That way it's very unlikely that anyone will want to take your electronics apart OR to take your knickers down (so to speak!) Keep your electronics AND your penis safe from intrusive searches!

But if you're plotting on ways to smuggle stuff over here, I seem to remember sniffer dogs with their handlers ... although it's been a long time since I last came into the country! I hope they catch you red-handed (or radioed / iPodded / cell-phoned etc.!) Serve you bleedin' well right - who do you think you are using this site to find a way to break the goddamned law?!?!?!?!?

See you are pissing yozora off.
For the last time, stop thinking of bringing in narcotics into Japan.
Intent to sell? You'll either be:
A) Arrested by the po-po, thrown in jail where some butt lover will carress you down and teach you how to say "I'm his bi*ch" in Japanese.
or
B) Get napped by the yakuza who will then cut off your toes because you are selling with no authorization in their territory which is a sign of great disrespect.

Seriously though, they will usually ask you to turn on the laptop and check that it actually works. Also the dogs will sniff it out.
If you're from the US, usually when you leave the US they ask you to turn the PC on so you might not even make it to the plane.
