I need some ideas for Christmas party games for a fourth grade class.?

The winter party for my fourth graders class is coming up...any ideas for games?

hmm.. musical chairs, 'secret santa' (around a $5 limit), board games, watch/read the polar express (optional-give out bells/hot chocolate), have them act out a skit, cherades, crafts (make snowmen, paper chains, snowflakes, etc.), have stations set up with activities to do (i.e. santa clause in versions from different countries, coloring papers for all holidays, food station, etc.)

just be creative and have fun with it!

Keep it simple. Don't go crazy with presents. Maybe just little goodie bags with cookies and candy (be aware of any food allergies, the school would know about this). Maybe find a volunteer to show up in a Santa Suit to pass out the goodie bags. And just have a pizza party or something. Sometimes schools have a problem with Christmas themed parties because of Hannukah and Kwaanza, so check with the school first on what is permissible.

Can you get them a pinata? Kids love it and when the candy spill out they go crazy.

Also, kids like contests so ask them to make a silly Christmas hat and provide the makings then they can all judge whose is best and whose is funniest, etc.

Bake or buy some plain sugar cookies and let each child use those tubes you can buy in the store to decorate his own cookies.
