He is about 2/3 months old and lives in the same cage as his brother. I also think they've been fighting lately. Could this just be a wound? What about an allergic reaction to a Cheezel? He seems to have grown it right after i fed them the cheesy snack. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like a tumor, you might want to get the little fellow checked out. I don't think it's the cheese snack.

An allergic reaction is more than just one lump. I think a visit to the vet is warranted. Find out if it is a bite or growth or abscess. If it's from fighting you may have to separate them.

Those cheesy snacks have a lot of bi products in them, your mouse will live longer if you don't feed it processed food.

If it came on quickly, it's probably a wound. Cancer develops slowly. And allergies don't usually manifest as one big lump.

I think you need two cages. Some animals don't get along well with others. And you appear to have two that fit that bill.

As for the lump, it is probably a bite and it will probably go down in a couple of days. If the mouse doesn't seem otherwise sick, I'd separate the mice and see what happens.

Some rats develop tumors as they get older. Female rats are more likely to develop tumors than males, and rats fed on a high-fat diet are also more at risk. The most common form are benign mammary tumors, which start off as a small, pea-like lump and grow steadily. They can occur in the rats' groin or armpit, along her side or on her back. If you can afford it i would go into the vet to get it further checked out.

It could be an abscess or tumor. Keep an eye on it and if worsens or there is no improvement take it to a vet that treats small animals. It's unlikely that it is an allergic reaction to cheese.

Is it a hard lump or a puss filled one? Whatever you do, don't try to remove it yourself.

If it doesn't disappear in a couple of days, take the mouse to the vet. Hopefully, it's just an allergic reaction or scar tissue and not some form of cancer. (everything can get cancers now-a-days)

Sounds like a tumor, it could be something else though. Safest thing to do is take your pet to the vet.

dont worry... i have a rat and there is nothing to worry about it is common that rats and mice grow tumors and it can be life threating but that is only if the tumor is larger than the mouse....just take it to the vet and he/she will tell you what to do.

Your rat has a tumor. I don't think that they are cureable without surgery, and when my pet mice get tumors, we let them free outside. I have a nature trail in my neighborhood, and thats where we put them.
