All the previous answerers nailed it. Just remember that "ratio" means dividing, so all you have to do is set the ratios up as an equation and then solve for x.

Also: ratios are generally expressed as [some number]:1. Since x/y = 15/8, the ratio of x to y is 1.875 to 1.

4*(2x) = 3*(5y)

8x = 15y

Divide by 8y and
x/y = 15/8
Ratio = 15:8
