Disease resistant roses are always beautiful and you can cut the flowers; "burning bush"-this one doesn't flower but has green leaves all summer, then turn a fiery red in fall. They would make a beautiful backdrop for your flowering bushes; Hydrangeas are beautiful and you can dry the flowers to use in the house or arrangements. There are so many others, visit Jackson and Perkins or Wayside Gardens websites.
