you must be pretty shallow. if all you think it takes to be cool is to be popular and wear good clothes, you're probably ignorant also. in the real world, after high school is over, no one is going to care who you hung out with or what clothes you wore. they're gonna care about how good of an education you have and wether you're worth hiring for a job or not. cliques are stupid and ridiculous. it just shows how selfish, inconsiderate, and socially mean people are. be friends with everybody, no matter who they are. people remember other people by the way they treated them. do you really want to be remembered as that girl who looked down on everybody and thought she was better than everybody else? people will just end up hating you and you'll make more enemies than friends. i played football with the jocks and hung out with band members, studied with geeks, chilled with the goths, you name it. but i do remember the popular cliques and i still hate them. and i always will, because they thought they were better than everyone else. no one is better than the next person.

I have an answer to your question: DON'T.
Just start a regular clique.......... if it becomes popular or semi-popular, great.......... but if not, just be yourself........
Many people in those cliques are shallow minded anyways, and then you have drama, people that are up to no good, stupid, childish, and false rumors spreading......... but if drama is something you thrive off of, then there's nothing I can say to convince you otherwise.
On a side note, your clothes comment is exactly why all public schools should make students wear uniforms.

Why try to change a tigers stripes?
Cliques are dumb and mean. Be friends with everyone and be different.
You don't have to change your stripes to spots, but you can change the color of them.

just be yourself. i doesn't matter if you're popular or not. rather be friends with people you like and who you can be real with rather than to be fake and try to get people to like you. no one likes fake people anyways.
