My fiance has to choose where to go to law school for next year. We are currently in Iowa where we ended for a job for me but we absolutely hate it and can't wait to get out. We are not religious and are independent politically. I am from France and can deal with any whether but he is from Florida... Right now we were thinking of Texas, Houston and Dallas (but that scares me), Arizona, Sacramento CA, or South Carolina (that scares me too).
What would you suggest? Anyone who has info about these cities?

Buffalo New York!! We have all four seasons!! there is snow in the winter and absolutly beautiful days in the summer!! We have some great schools in the area as well. The food here is amazing and we have been voted the nations friendliest city once or twice. Where you want to live is up to you, and dont take what i say as truth it is my opinion, but if i were you i would look into buffalo, i have lived here my whole life and i would never ever want to leave

Sacramento, CA. Why no humidity at least not as much as the States you stated above. Cool winters, no snow. Not a fast life style like San Francisco, Los Angeles, or San Diego. But easy drivable distance. San Francisco is only 1.5 hours. Los Angeles is only 6 hour drive. If you want to go to San Diego tack another 2 hours. Also the Federal Courthouse is here in Sacramento so getting an internship maybe possible. Hope this helps your decision.

Non of the above! Be adventurous, try somewhere a little different , how about- Portola, Calif. (Northern part of the state); check out Lake Tahoe..either end north/south and either state Nevada/Calif. Actually, what I've seen of Sacramento, it was pretty nice. If you want low cost of living, look at Idaho, Rigby or Idaho Falls..a little on the cold side. The South, you get bugs and humidity; the southwest..might as well move to Hell (Arizona) hot and dry; northwest..wet, wet, wet! but green Chicago.. they don't call it the Windy City for nothing..San Francisco? I love it there....Or, why not pick Paradise? But whats in a name? Oh, to be young with the world at your feet!!! Just remember, if you move and happen not to like it.. cut your losses and move on. Good luck and happy trails to you!!!

I have lived in houston and Dallas. I like Dallas much better, it cleaner and the people are nicer. if you fiance wants to go to law school TX is a good pick. They are good schools but a lot cheaper then other states. Look at University of Houston law school

My choice would be Dallas or South Carolina. California is too expensive. I just personally don't care for the desert, so Arizona wouldn't appeal very much to me.
