I see nothing wrong in a woman/girl getting an abortion. I personally have not had one but if something were to ever happen and i wanted to get an abortion then i would.
Why can't some people just agree on this: Some people are for abortion and some are against it?

I agree with that. Some people support abortion and some don't. For those of us who view it as taking a life, it's very difficult not to get emotional. And it's not something I can talk about in my social circle because I'm not religious and most every one of my friend's and family have no issues with the procedure.

However, that being said. As emotional as it is for me, I wouldn't treat someone poorly or call them names (like sinner, or murderer or whatnot that I've seen) because they've had an abortion. If a friend came to me for support, I would support her.

Because I look at it this way. I feel that abortion is taking a baby's life. I really do. However I also know that women and all female mammals have been known to kill young that they can not support. So I'm not sure if it's just human nature (or animal nature) to do this. So I don't judge. Ultimately, I believe everyone has lessons to learn in life and if their lesson has to do with their abortion, then it's along their own path that they will learn and/or make amends if that's what is required.

Anyway....as a mom and a pregnant woman, it's an emotional issue...as it is for a lot of people on either side. I'm not sure that people will ever agree.....

But life is diverse and we all have different opinions. If we all felt the same way about everything, I don't think it would be human.

I think most people are too quick to make judgements, voice opinions and cast aspersions.
At the end of the day... abortion is legal, and it is for a reason. Now, not everyone will agree to whether it is right or wrong.. but what cannot be denied is that these women have been granted the right to choose. And no, they have not been granted that by god, but by the government. They are not breaking any laws, so should therefore not be branded as killers.
As for the 'so called' christian people out there, who like to verbally attack women on such sites as these... If you truly were a follower of god, you would know that 'he' is the only person that is to pass judgement on us, and the way in which we live our lives. 'He' also holds the power to forgive us all our sins.
The law has given us the right to choose, and if we can live with ourselves for the decisions we have made, if we can say we have obeyed the law, then who is anyone to try and make people feel guilty for an informed decision they had to make??

It's a sensitive subject for most people. Some people are more open to a woman's right to choose, and others are not so open due to religious beliefs, personal opinion, abortion= killing a life, etc.

Personally, I have not had one done, and nor do I ever plan on it (I'm married and have no reason to terminate a pregnancy). However, I am for abortions for people who feel they are not ready, or too young. It's an individual choice.

I do agree with you on that point. I, personally, am against abortion but I do agree that it's a woman's decision that she is going to have to live with & pay for in the end. That's just my own personal beliefs on it. I don't like people trying to push their beliefs off on me, so I won't do that to others. I can debate the subject all day LOL but that don't mean I am the one that has to live with the decision in the end.

Think about it the other way. If you posted your question as "Why do people get all upset if you agree that abortion is wrong?" You'd still get people that are upset with your statement. EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinions. What you believe is what you believe and vice versa. You can't get everyone to agree on this because it's all based on personal beliefs and personal experience(s). Just as how you don't believe it's wrong. It is what it is.

i think of it relies upon on the region. once I grew to alter into pregnant my boyfriend substitute into extremely pressuring me for like a month to have an abortion, and that i think of it makes it plenty harder whilst somebody is pressuring you to do issues, thats already confusing. i substitute into 20, nonetheless in college and had no job to even shelter the toddler. finally i think of the determination should be as much as the female it particularly is pregnant for the reason that's something you need to handle constantly. I went to many clinics and talked with them relating to the technique and each little thing and desperate against it. i ought to in no way see myself with out my toddler now and he's 9 months.
