Silver nitrate is definately soluble in water - we use it as a very sensitve stain to detect nucleic acids and proteins in electrophoresis gels.

Any compound it is formed from a team I component is soluble in water. because KNO? is produced from ok+ (potassium) ions, that are in team a million, and of NO?- ions, KNO? is soluble. i wish this facilitates!
