144 is a perfect square because 12^2 = 144
Note that 24 = 2(12).
Therefore,
x^2 - 24x + 144 = (x-12)^2

that must be a negative number and when you add them up it equals 0 i think....... im only in 5th grade. wait a minute let me think this out.....:

- 24=120

count down and find the difference between 120 and 0 which is 120. so x i think is 120????? i have no idea but maybe i did it right???????!! :)

(x-12)^2=0
