Not important to me it is what is on the inside , not the outside don't worry so much about things that you can not help.

It would NOT be an issue for most people. Scars from something like knife-fighting would be a giant problem, though; but even then it wouldn't be the look of the scar as much as it would be what it said about the person.
Having said that (and - honestly - I'm not contradicting what I said above; I just thought it may be worth mentioning), if the scars are raised have you heard about that product that is out there now that is supposed to lighten them some or, I guess, make them otherwise a little less visible? If its only acne scars maybe this stuff would be something that could improve them a little.

Perhaps it is your self consciousness that is putting them off, and not the acne scarring? You dont need to be Brad Pitt to pull - otherwise everyone would be single. Looks can help if you're after a girl who goes for men because of how they look - but if you can be confident and sure of yourself, and not be discouraged from going out on the pull by previous bad experiences, you will have no problems. Acne scars are very common. A couple of my mates had real bad acne when they were younger, and both have scarring, but neither have ever had too much problem pulling because either they dont care, or they do but dont let on. Neither are single right now.

I'm not being cruel here, it does depend how bad your face is scarred, these people aren't being truthful. It certainly wouldn't stop me speaking to a person and getting to know them, beauty in a woman or looks in a man is only skin deep. It's the person inside that matters. But unfortunately looks do go a long way, again not being hurtful here but your face is the first thing people see, work on your personality it's more important anyway. XX

Interesting you ask, as I have just had the same conversation with my friend. Her new boyfriend has a big scar across his stomach, and she actually finds it a turn on. I have two huge scars, one down each hip, about 30cm each, and I've never found it to be a problem. (Well, not since I was a child anyway). Don't worry, I don't think people find it to be as off-putting as you might think.

Most decent girls would not care the slightest about that. Personally I look for a great personality, kindness, brains and a sense of humour. Most guys I've been out with have been someone I already knew and when talking to them, something about what they said or the way they said it just went 'ping' and I realised that I fancied them. I've only ever had one boyfriend who I just thought 'wow' the minute I clapped eyes on him!!

Scars are not important. Don't be self conscious, this will show through and make some back off. However, if you are confident and have a good character this is what counts. Good luck and God bless****

Absolutely not! Acne scarring is so common,I think the majority of adults would have some sort of scar that they are self conscious about, yet other people wouldn't notice it

Acne scarring, is quite common...
When a girl loves you, she wont see, the scars, but instead, she will see, the inner beauty.
By the way, you can get laser treatment for acne scarring, which might help you with your low esteem.
P.S. I'm 42 and suffer with Acne and scarring.
