Is there a safe way for sex between females?

Hmm, this is an interesting question, basically because it's quite simple to use protection in most lesbian sex- condoms on the sex toys, toy sterilization in boiling water or the dishwasher, dental dams or saranwrap for oral sex, and latex gloves for manual stimulation or vaginal and anal penetration with fingers/hands.

"Grinding", however, or, "tribbing" as it's also known, is more difficult. How to safely do so? I would say do it through your clothes, but not only is that somewhat non-erotic, but if the clothes get damp with vaginal secretions, cross-contamination can still occur. Yet using saranwrap or dental dams are too small, or might shift around a lot. It's a tricky procedure.

You might try investing in some sort of rubber panties like the type worn for incontinence. I don't know how thick they are, if they would allow good sensation to come through, and it is somewhat embarrassing to offer to a partner, or even buy, but it's better than contracting a disease. The other option would be to use two really, really big sheets of plastic wrap between both of you, covering each of your vaginas, inner thighs, and butts.

Either way, it isn't going to be very romantic unless you can mentally get past that, but such is the price you pay for being with a partner who either has a disease, or one you can't be sure doesn't.

Be safe, and have fun!

Dental dams and latex gloves...

But really the best way is monogamy.

Just because lesbians have a much lower incidence of disease than any other sexual preference doesn't mean that it's 100% safe. You can still get herpes, for instance.

Find someone you love. Bring the U-Haul. Forsake all others.

of course, only thing is you have to treat strap ons like real penis's and put condoms on it, you dont need to be sharing fluids.
