I'm from Canada, a country that (thankfully) legalized Gay marriage about 3 1/2 years ago. Actually, my husband and I got married the same week that same-sex marriage was legalized.

I see same-sex marriage as an equal rights issue, not a religious issue. In a society like Canada and the US where church and state are (supposed to be) separate, a marriage under the law is really no different than a civil union -- an official uniting of two people. If your particular church or congregation prefers to not marry same-sex couples -- go ahead! But I really don't think it's the state's place to say whether or not it should be allow. If those who are homosexual, heterosexual, black, white, yellow, red, disabled, female, male, etc. are seen as equal under the law, they should have equal rights -- that's the end of the story.

If you don't agree in same-sex marraige, join a church that believes in the same where your beliefs will be reinforced.

i don't know. but i don't see a d*mn thing wrong with it. no---i'm not gay, but i did at one time have a friend who was gay. i think if two men or two women want to be married, then they should be. if they're both happy, then i don't see a thing wrong with why they shouldn't be married. i don't understand why it is, that people have to interfere with others lives. if they don't like that a gay couple is getting married, then they don't have to pay attention, or have anything to do with it. gay people are different than us---yes---but they're still human beings, and they still deserve the right to be happy. and if being happy to the gay couple means that they want to be married, then so be it. nobody should keep that right from them. no one has that right. and to h*ll with it, if God says it's not supposed to happen! he made us all different, and we're all here for a different purpose, and maybe a gay couple's purpose in life is to be married, and live happily ever after. if that's what their purpose is, then let them fulfill it, don't stand in their way. you can't stop all gay people from getting married. besides, you're not being married, so why in the holy h*ll should you be worrying about it? (sorry i just hate it, when there's prejudice in the world).
