limes are not lemons.
When both fruits are ripe, u'll c the diff.
Limes are small n usually harvest b4 it tirn into orange color while lemons are bigger than limes n often used in iced lemon tea..hehe.

So, if ure doing experiment...better use lemon. C below

The most "obvious" difference is the color. HOWEVER, most of the color (for example, what you see in stores) is artificial coloring.
