What's the best way to kill grass that's growing in rocks?

After the weeds are gone use a pre-emergent like Preen to help keep the weeds down before they can come back.

So simple to answer.
For GRASS, use Round Up when the temp stays above 85 all the time.
You problem is most likely with broad leaf weeds. Just buy a broad leaf weed control and spot treat. It will take applications every 2 weeks to get under control. Keep in mind, the birds will be replanting seeds daily, so your job will never end.

weed control made just for this at the local hardware store.it really works. i had weed grass in between the cracks sprayed on and in weeks no more weed grass on my driveway

ROUND UP! That stuff works wonderful. And you can buy it pre mixed and in a spray bottle.
