I agree. Life is a natural part of life, and sure, it's hard to bear, but it is going to happen to all of us one time or another. And Yes, it's scary, but it's the truth. Every second you life brings you only closer to death, and who knows, any one person could die at any moment. It's something we need to cope with as humans, but also as seperate souls. The thing you have to look at is all the things they achieves in their life time. Weither it be a little thing like Donating $10 to Red Cross (or anything else) or something bigger, like making a huge scientific discover that benifits the entire planet, the did something that counted and that little piece of them will always stay with us no matter what.

Death doesn't scare me. I don't cry when I lose someone, I cry if they have to suffer. I feel that death is a calling to go back home. It should be a celebration if one has lived a full life.

I don't understand why many people have chosen to identify with death as though it's a horrible and sad thing. It really isn't.

i understand that but it doesnt make it any easier. its damn scary! no one really knows for sure where a person goes. and i especially dont want to die soon, theres so many things that i need to do, need to see that will take time to achieve. i think about it almost every night im in bed and i quiver at the thought of not knowing where im going..and how you cant do anything you want to do when youre dead..and the people youd leave behind. but if i really must die, i hope i some day can be w/the guy i believe i am in love with and really care about, one reason is because it would make it easier and less frightening if he was right beside me...

I agree with you. Its not death that people are affraid of, its the unknown. No matter whats your belief or religion, there are still questions or skeptism about what happens to the soul once the body dies. But I feel that whatever happens, there isnt to much that can be as bad as the crazy world in which we live.

That's a good way to look at it, I agree with you. There is no need to be scared of death, it is a natural process. What is most important, is how you lived your life, and While you are alive, making the most of appreciating your life.

It doesn't exactly make it any easier to deal with though. A very dear friend of mine was killed in July, it still hurts every day, I can't even look at his pictures. Whether it is a part of life or not, it still hurts when it happens to someone close to you.

I agree. Death is unavoidable.

How do I feel about it? Secure. Mostly because of my faith in Jesus Christ. He took the sting out of death and offered eternal life to us in return.

It's going to happen eventually, get over it and live as long as you can
I've gotten people that don't care about life a shirt that reads "Eat right, excercise, die anyway."
