i am 37 weeks and 2 days i went to the doctor yesterday and he said that im still closed but 70% effaced...i've been having contractions but not frequent and each one i have is worse than the last...also ive been having really bad headaches but my blood preasure is totally normal..
also my baby is about 7 1/2 pounds so i think she's ready to come out because she started practicing breathing a while ago

You could go several more weeks before baby comes out or deliver tomorrow.. I am 39 weeks been having serious B H contractions for weeks now and 100% effaced. Tick Tock goes the clock...The babies weight is only one indication that he/she is ready. Relax... Pamper yourself
The baby will let you know soon enough when it is time.

If the contractions keep getting worse, call your doctor. My mom was sent home from the doctor and told that it would be about two more weeks. She knew she had to be in labor and went to the doctor and later that night she had me.

Sperm will help soften the cervix and induce labor... Your hubby can only produce so much though so you may want to consider enlisting the help of some of his buddies. Just think of it as them trying to help alleviate your medical condition, no different than donating blood or bone marrow really.

LOL yeah i had that hope last week... i'm 38 weeks + a half and still nothing. all you can do is wait for the darned thing to finally come out. kinda like a deep sliver when you can't find tweezers

Take 2 ounces of castor oil. If the baby is ready to come, that will kick things into gear. If the baby is NOT ready to come, it will just clean your colon out..... Good luck.

your baby will come when its ready, i know how excitting it is and how uncomfortable it is right now, but stay calm and enjoy your quite time before your baby dose come, good luck and congradulations,, you'll do fine!!
