What are some of the most memorable moments in film from your personal perspective? When have you actually been on the edge of your seat, gripping the arms or the person next to you because you were so scared/expectant/thrilled? When have you literally cried tears of sadness/joy/anger? What was the movie and the scene?

The last movie that I found really emotional was The Notebook. I know, it's such a cliche....but really, the ending of that movie is so beautiful. An all - encompassing - lifelong love. *sigh* I cry everytime.
The last tense one that had me gripping the edge of my seat was Cujo, Stephen King. I read the book, but just saw it for the first time on T.V. a couple of weeks ago. When the mother's in the car, and the little boy is screaming in the back? *shudder* I knew what was going to happen in the end and I still had to turn the channel.
Just the thought of dying slowly in my car with my daughter screaming in the background makes me want to hurl. Urg

The movie With Honors with Brendon Frasier when the bum, Simon, tells his story of his dog being hit by a car and running into the woods to die alone on a pile of leaves and wouldn't let anyone touch him and then the bum realizes he is dying and he jumps out of the van and runs into the woods and Brendan Frasier runs after him saying your not a dog. I cried like a baby.
The movie 28 Days Later had me on the edge of my seat and my mouth hanging opend from beginning to end just from the sheer sickness of it. The movies We Were Soldiers, Tigerland and any war movie makes me cry so hard because my husband was in the war in Iraq and I can't watch a movie about war now without losing it.

I always cry during "The Notebook" when Old Man Noah cries because the Older Allie remembered him for a few minutes and then it just goes away and she forgets who he is.

I also cry during the movie "Hope Floats". I mainly cry when the little girl is trying to leave with her daddy and he pushes her away and she's crying and chasing after the car.

I don't really find any movies scary, but I remember the first time I watched the movie "Speed", I was on the edge of my seat.

Ok this is a scary one where I have actually heard my heart pounding in my ears and couldn't even finish watching the scene from The Exorcist where she comes down the stairs like a spider just writing it makes my stomach flip. I don't know if thats what you meant, but if you meant crying scenes that make you ball like a baby. I have tons of those but off the top of my head Ghost the scene where she finally sees him at the end and the way she cries like I never do : PRETTY. Now that was a scene boy I sure did cry ugly with that scene..Nothing at all like Demi did.
