IDoes any body know if the self-study program (do the program at home) is as good as going in person to their classes? Have you heard of any one who has passed the NY Bar Exam doing the self-study program?

I did the classes but couldn't afford the PMBR. So I did not passed the NY bar cause I was short for 50 points! Still hurts...Anyway, i need to keep my job, (got a mortgage to pay) so I'm thinking that if I want to take the bar again within the next few years I need to do the self-study...

It's going to be tough. People who do the program at the classes then promptly go home to keep studying. Any reason for doing the self study? It might sound the same, but the classes force you to put in at least a certain amount of time which is usually pretty crucial.
