Alienware are cool systems, very pricey considering the product lifespan.

Dell XPS gaming pc would be your best bet. hold off until the new year for the best deals like double RAM etc. at least justify the price tag a little.

Ever considered building a PC yourself then you can customise it how you want - Aliencase, Coolmaster liquid cooling system, ATI Radeon X1900 Pro graphics - separate these components are cheaper. there are plenty of books on the subject and I'm sure Hayes have brought out a book how to build your own pc.

I Bought a cheap HP Pavilion from www.dabs.com - naff case, but excellent kit inside, and put liquid cooling upgraded graphics, RAM, fancy lights in a cool alien case total system cost £1000. NFS Carbon runs fantastic - nice to see all setting set to Maximum.

Good luck with what you decide.
