The first thing an Indian brave does when he marries is to get her fat so no other brave would ever want her. Does this mean he loves her any the less? No, he etches her image at time of the marital ceremony in his head so therefore loves her for her inner beauty and the notion that she will be a good woman for his children. The brave knows that the other braves want only the thin good looking squaws so they will have no want for his bride. The brave doesnt marry for materialistic looks but the real thing; true love of a good squaw. He doesnt care what the other braves think because he knows that everyday after hunting or fighting, his bride will be home waiting for his return with food ready to eat and his kids waiting for dad. White men are just the opposite, they marry a beautiful thin woman for status quo for all time. They have an image to uphold in the eyes of their peers, business associates or whomever. Once our woman get fat they lose the image and thus tarnish his ego image. Therefore did we marry for materialistic images or unconditional true love like the Indians; the inner love that makes us truly happy for life. I, personally, married my wife for her inner beauty and brains and the real love she gives me, fat or thin. Good luck and Merry Christmas

When I met my husband I was 30 and weighed 115 pounds. When I gave birth to our son at age 34 {shortly before my 35th} I weighed in at a whopping 215 pounds! Yes sir I gained 100 pounds with my pregnancy thanks to 3 months of bed rest, high calories, and steroid shots to promote the baby's development because we knew he'd be born premature and needed to give him every chance possible. I dropped most of the weight got down to 130 but then all of a sudden it started to go back up because I had developed hypothyroidism. My husband always told me I was beautiful and he NEVER once commented on my weight because he knew I was beating myself up over it. He always found me attractive and always loved me and told me everyday. Personally I at that point didn't love myself. If my husband got fat I wouldn't care his body is just his shell I fell in love with him as a person not as a body.

Would your wife be less attracted to you if you got fat? It goes two ways.

Also, if that's all that is keeping you together, is that your wife isn't fat, maybe you need to get a divorce now, because if you ever want kids.... you got a BIG surprise coming your way!

I guess I shouldn't be surprised at all the guys that answered "yes". I feel sorry for their wives, all the pressure they must be under to stay slim and trim for their husbands. I'm fortunate that my husband finds me attractive and it can only get better because I'm already FAT!

That is really cruel. You may not be attracted to her but I am sure that there are a lot of other guys that would be. I know I gained weight after I got married to my ex and he had the same attitude as you and it broke me down, but I ended up finding better guys who loved the me that I grew to be comfortable with.

Yes most men would be and also they would probably cat around and look for "prettier more shapley whores" to make them feel more manly. But dont fret what usually happens is the wife loses weight and looks outstanding and the "husband" looks worse then ever wishing maybe just maybe he wasnt a disgusting shallow asstard.

My husband tells me I better not get fat. I know he would comment on it if I started to gain weight. He works hard to stay attractive I do as well. (Not just for him, but me as well.)

It doesn't matter to me. I love her any way any day. I marraid her because I love her, not because I lust her. She's my everything and if there is more of everything then so be it. I don't have to worry though, she eats pretty good, but never gains an inch or a pound.

Marriage is about love. My husband gained alot of weight but I still love him and that has never changed. It's about who the person is inside and how they treat you. Not about what they look like.
