I have tried editing the TypeGuessRows in the registry and set it to 0. This did not work, though.

If you wrap text it is supposed to show up to 1024 characters, but a cell will actually hold 32,767 characters. They will all show in the formula bar.

It does allow more than 255 characters. If you look in the formula bar it will display the full contents of the cell however the cell itself will not display them. I have yet to find a method for changing this to allow the cell itself to display more characters.

try =CONCATINATE()

you will need to have the information in other cells. Don't know if this will work but that's my thought. good luck.
