I went to the hospital 1 yr ago. I was only 17 but had 1 kid. My mom was not there to sign for me to be admitted into the hospital Now they are suing her for my bill. Is this legal?

Go with the insanity defense. OR say it wasn't you. They can't prove nothing! Immediately demand copies of all pertinent records and file a counter-suit against the hospital for harassment and other various civil, constitutional and human rights that inevitably were violated.

Happy New Year & Christmas too.

Don't sweat the small things.

Yes she is., she's your legal guardian till 18...and because you spread your legs at 17 i'm sure she will be responsible for raising and the well being of that child also.....children having children!

Yes, it is legal. You were still not considered an adult, unless you were emancipated at the time of the hospital visit...then that would make you responsible for the bill. Best of luck to you, your baby, and your mom.
